In the late 20’s and early 30’s there was a war amongst the American car companies vying for the top spot for sales.  It was not until 1931 that Chevrolet actually outsold Ford as they plugged their famous slogan of “The Great American Value. “  Chevy may have outsold Ford between their 12 models, however only 22,316 5 window coupes rolled off the production line.

This car was fully restored and modified in 2011, bringing the car back to life.  A brand new 1993 Corvette LT1 engine with headers and transmission were added to increase the power output.  Also power steering, electric popper doors with remote, computer operated trunk door, LED lit exhaust pipes, CD player and automatic floor shift were added to really make this a custom ride.

The body still retains the soft oak frame skinned in metal.  During the restoration all rust was removed and no fiberglass was used.  The body was painted in a volcano orange and the fenders were painted brown sugar brown. The combination of the colors adds an amazing contrast.  The car features 17”rear and 15” front eagle alloy wheels.   The interior upholstery is ostrich skin including the wrapped steering wheel, seats and door side panels.

With the look and feel of a true early classic, this car has modern day modifications to make any cruise a comfort cruise
