1970 SS Chevelle

This undocumented LS6 454/450 hp Chevelle Super Sport has recently received a complete frame-off concours restoration to the highest standards. It is finished in Shark Grey Metallic with black interior and Super Sport stripes, and is optioned with the TH400 automatic transmission, Stratobucket seats, custom instrument package, power steering, 4.11 posi-traction 12 bolt rear axle and cowl-induction hood. The 454ci engine has been completely rebuilt to factory LS6 450hp specifications with a correct 1970 3963512 engine block. The highly detailed engine bay and the complete underside of the car is been painted in the Grey Metallic with everything on this Chevelle being brand new.

This car is a complete frame off rotisserie restoration that started as a true SS/454, completely rust free car with an original vinyl top and a console shift automatic. It has been painted the Corvette Shark Grey metallic with an all-new black interior, finished off with the black vinyl top.

Behind the 454 is a Turbo 400 automatic transmission, 4 wheel disc brakes with a vacuum booster, 12 bolt posi with 411 gears, boxed lower rear control arms, and front and rear sway bars and a 21/2 inch Flow Master exhaust. The interior has been finished in the original style all leather seats with the buckets in front, all the glass has been replaced and is new, and has 158 test miles on this complete frame off restoration.

This Chevelle 454 SS is an awesome car, it runs and drives very nice. The underside of the car and the engine compartment is painted the same color as the body color. The shift points are perfect and it goes down the highway very nice at 55 miles per hour with the 411 gears. It never runs hot even in 90-1 00 degree temps, the engine temp will not go over 185 degrees even while on a slow car cruise. This car horsepower rating is estimated between 500-550, it is a great cruiser very driver friendly on the street it idles at 800 rpm and has that SS rumble. that sounds very mean and looks very nice, this is a complete frame off restoration with 99% with all parts restored or replaced. This is a very high end build on a 1970 Chevelle SS that is one of the most desirable cars out there today.
